Founder & Creative Director
Born on the island of Moorea, Tahia Haring grew up between Polynesian heritage and European influence. From this background, she developed a deep connection to the islands, a love of authenticity and an instinctive sense of elegance.
Her journey with Tahitian pearls began in 1993, when she founded Black Pearl Gem Company in Moorea. Over more than three decades, this vision evolved into TAHIA Exquisite Tahitian Pearls, establishing her international reputation for refined design, exceptional craftsmanship and uncompromising quality.
A GIA-trained pearl expert, Tahia personally selects the pearls that inspire her creations and remains closely involved throughout the design process.
Her signature combines Polynesian spirit with contemporary luxury, celebrating the individuality, colour and natural beauty of the Tahitian pearl.
Her work has received international recognition, including Designer of the Year 2006–2007 from the Hawaii Jewelers Association and the Tahitian Pearl Trophy 2008 for Nouvelle Lune sous une Chorale d’Étoiles.
